Testing - to Infinity and Beyond...

In the last 50-60 years, software testing has gone from scratch to become an independent, widely accepted and widespread profession. The lack of which is being experienced through terribly painful consequences by those businesses that are pushing it into the background. About such experiences and about how testing has evolved several times over time, what its basic guiding principles are, how testing fits into the world of requirements and development, where and how we can best apply this creative-engineering activity, among other things, these will be discussed in the lecture. We will discuss not only the past and the present but, also the future of testing.
