Az előadás tartalmából
The Internet of Things (IoT) refers to the network of
interconnected devices, ranging from smart home appliances to
industrial sensors, that communicate and exchange data over the
internet. These devices are embedded with sensors, software, and other
technologies, enabling them to collect and exchange data with each
other and with central systems.
Security in IoT is crucial due
to the vast amount of sensitive data being transmitted and stored by
these interconnected devices. Without adequate security measures, IoT
devices are vulnerable to various cyber threats such as hacking, data
breaches, and malware attacks. Ensuring the security of IoT systems
involves implementing robust encryption protocols, authentication
mechanisms, and access controls to protect data integrity and
confidentiality. Additionally, continuous monitoring and updates are
essential to detect and mitigate any security vulnerabilities that may
arise in IoT devices and networks.
